Infrastructure Engineer

Citon is seeking a detail-oriented, customer service-focused candidate with advanced technical skills to join our team in an Infrastructure Engineer role.
What you would be doing
  • Research, design, implementation, test, maintain, repair, and support the following data center infrastructure
  • Analyze and report security breaches or attempted breaches
  • Performance and capacity planning for the data center infrastructure
  • Create or update technical documentation for data center installations or changes to existing installations
  • Design, configure, and install custom infrastructure solutions for Data Center customers
What you bring to the table
  • Strong understanding of server, security, wireless, network infrastructure and other systems the Citon sells and services
  • 5+ years experience with: networking service industry and products, Microsoft Server
  • Operating Systems, VMWare, Storage Area Networks, Citrix XenApp and NetScaler products, advanced networking products including switching, routing, load balancing, SDN, and firewalls
  • Minimum of 2 years post-secondary education
  • Multiple pertinent vendor certification

IT Solutions Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking an outgoing, responsible, independently driven achiever for an IT Solutions Specialist role who will develop and build new relationships in our existing markets. This person is fearless, comfortable prospecting, and can help introduce Citon to new customers. In this role, each day will bring a new challenge – you will meet with new customers and be charged with understanding their needs and working with our exceptional technical team to design, build, and implement meaningful solutions.
Primary Functions:
  • This is an outside sales position
  • Make outbound sales calls over the phone or in person
  • Schedule appointments with prospects and customers
  • Maintain a territory of accounts and create business strategies for entering new markets
  • Bring a creative, fun edge to what you do, innovating and leading with solutions for our customers

Network Engineer

Citon is seeking a detail-oriented, customer service-focused candidate with advanced technical skills to join our team in a Network Engineer role.
What you would be doing
  • Application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software and system functional specifications
  • Design, development, testing, or modifications of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications
  • The design, documentation, testing, installation and configuration of computer program systems related to machine operating systems such as VMWare and MS Server operating systems
  • Installation and maintenance of Citon customer networks, servers, computers and other infrastructure as well as liaising with customers’ other technology vendors
What you bring to the table
  • Strong understanding of server, security, wireless, network infrastructure, etc. systems and topologies that Citon sells and services
  • General knowledge of Networking Service industry and products
  • Knowledge & experience with a minimum of 2 industry standard operating systems
  • Knowledge and use of VMWare, MS Server Operating Systems and Citrix products is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years networking experience
  • Post-secondary education in related field desired

Customer Service Manager

Citon is seeking a Customer Service Manager to coordinate communication, scheduling, and completion of customers’ service needs for the full cycle of the ticket. If you are looking for a fast-paced role in the IT industry this is the job you’ve been waiting for!
What you would be doing
  • Answer incoming calls and email requests from customers, sales staff and engineering with professionalism and timeliness
  • Prioritize incoming service requests and create service tickets to schedule and track ticket status
  • Manage engineering calendars to maximize productivity and full use of resources
What you bring to the table
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, and friendly manner with customers, co-workers, and managers
  • Demonstrated ability to function at a high level with multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail with the ability to complete documentation in an accurate and thorough manner
  • Desire to learn best practices in the IT service field
  • Experience scheduling or coordinating teams or projects preferred
  • Experience/knowledge in the IT field a plus

Help Desk Engineer

Citon is seeking a detail-oriented, customer service-focused candidate with advanced communication skills to join our team in a full time Help Desk Engineer role.
What you would be doing
  • Provide phone support to Citon customers, including remote desktop and server support
  • Monitor and perform routine server health checks for maintenance customers
  • Monitor service alerts from monitoring and management software, identify and resolve issues related to those alerts
  • Review, follow-up on and complete assigned activity in ticketing system
  • Monitor service board and ensure that tickets are worked within the customers’ Service Level Agreement and promised time line.
What you bring to the table
  • Understand workstation, server, security, wireless, network infrastructure that Citon sells and services
  • General knowledge of the Networking Service industry and products
  • Minimum of 1 year computer/networking experience
  • Strong written and excellent verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Post-secondary education in related a field.
