Server Engineer
Duluth's based Citon Computer Corporation the leading provider of technology solutions has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Server Engineer with a focus on Servers, Active Directory & Exchange to join our team.
This position will work with Citon's enterprise customers on Window's servers, Active Directory, MS Exchange & more. The candidate must have a solid background in design, implementation and support of MS Windows server environments. Those experienced with MS Exchange migration will be strongly considered. Candidate must possess a strong working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Rights and Policy Management. Experience with server builds; installation of application at the server level, hands on experience with anti-virus, anti-spyware techniques and data back-up solutions is a must. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written skills and have the ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide professional service. This senior level engineer will work with Citon's enterprise customers to design, deploy and manage server and network infrastructures in Citon's proven portfolio of enterprise solutions. This position will focus on virtualization, local and wide-area networking, and layered enterprise security. Advanced analysis and design skills coupled with sound diagnostic and troubleshooting methodology is required. Applicants should posses a working knowledge of current server technology, virtualization techniques, and industry best practices for the design and maintenance of an IT infrastructure. A strong desire to learn is essential and industry certifications from vendors such as VMWare and Microsoft are preferred. Experience as a field technician/engineer is a plus.
